Once in a few years or so, we mis-label an egg.  This very pretty high yellow female gecko came out of an egg with unknown parents, so we can't tell you what hets she has.  We don't normally breed for high yellows, but it doesn't make us treat this gecko any differently.  She is a great example of a high yellow leopard gecko, one of the harder to find breeds out there because most breeders don't breed for high yellows anymore.  We love the authentic look, the lavender patches, dark spots, and a hint of carrot-tail.  This is what a leopard gecko used to look like before special breeds flooded the market.

On top of it all, she is an extremely docile gecko.  Usually when a young juvenile sees you, they run and hide.  This girl will just stare up at you with those pretty eyes and let you pick her up.  We are a small scale breeder so we interact with each and every one of our geckos.  At least twice a week we handle them as we feed/change water/rewet moist hides.  So when we say she's an extremely docile gecko, we mean it.  She will make an excellent pet, a great pick for someone looking for a friendly gecko.

Weight update!  She's now 70g as of 3-9-2017, and still growing!  It's worth noting that most of our male breeders are either Giants or Super Giants.  So while we can't say who this girl's parents are, there's a very good chance she'll end up being a Giant or possible Super Giant.  Again, no guarantees since we said upfront her egg was mislabeled.  But looking at her growth rate, she's headed for 80g+ soon.
