Morph
:  Giant Tremper Sunglow
Hatch Date:  6-27-2017
Sex:  Female
Weight:  66g as of 1-8-2018
Feeding on:  Superworms
Parents:  Hyperion (Giant Extreme Emerine) x Super Giant Tremper Sunglow

Comments:

This Giant Tremper Sunglow female is an offspring from Hyperion, our Giant Extreme Emerine male breeder.  She is an A grade example of a Tremper Sunglow.  She has smooth sunglow yellow throughout her body and head, with a touch of carrot-tail.  Her size comes from a combination of a Giant father and Super Giant mother.  We are selling her as a Giant, only time could tell if she turns out to be a Super Giant or not.

See below for Ron Tremper's Giant Genetics chart:

Super Giant X Super Giant = 100% Super Giant
Super Giant X Giant = 50% Super Giant / 50% Giant
Super Giant X Normal = 100% Giant
Giant X Giant = 25% Super Giant, 50% Giant, 25% Normal
Giant X Normal = 50% Giant / 50% Normal

Leopard geckos with giant genetics in them tend to grow beyond the first year.  Where as normal leopard geckos usually stop growing once they reach adulthood at 1 year old.  You often see giants and super giants get their length early on, then they fill out their body girth and weight after the first year.  This is why you can't always tell a Giant & Super Giants apart this early because they will continue to grow.  She may grow to become a Super Giant and reach over 90g after the first year, or she could stay a Giant.  Either way, she's a beautiful Giant Tremper Sunglow with an extremely docile personality.

She will make an excellent pet in a loving home.  This is an extremely docile gecko, suitable for any new leopard gecko hobbyists looking for a friendly pet.  If you breed, she'll be a great breeder in this 2018 breeding season.  Female leopard geckos often start their first ovulation cycle around 8-12 months old.  So she should start ovulating and ready to breed for you in a couple of months.  She has slight soft joints on the front leg, was born this way, it doesn't affect the way she walks or moves.  You wouldn't have noticed it without me pointing it out.  Her size, plump tail, and growth rate should indicate to you that she's a very healthy leopard gecko.
